Advice during the submission of an offer

During the submission phase of an offer we assist you concerning all static, technical and building regulatory questions. By pre-dimensioning and assessing the possible ways to acquire all necessary permissions, we will put you in a position to calculate more precisely and also to better assess possible risks or hidden costs (for example regarding the “approvals on an individual basis”, ZiE).

• Optimization of glazing considering all product specific requirements on heat-, sun-, noise- and personal protection by glazing and all building physical questions

Preparation of the approval procedure documents

• Numeric simulation of static, dynamic and building physical problems with the help of the Finite Elements Method (FEM) on all parts of façade constructions and bearing constructions

• Preparation of all documents necessary for the approval procedure for glazing and bearing constructions

• Preparation of all documents on impact safety according to the TRAV-regulations (6.2-6.4)

• Preparations of documents on impact safety with the help of transient-dynamic pendulum impact tests

Supervision of the approval procedure

Despite the fact that after all technical rules and regulations (TRLV, TRAV, TRPV) have been amended and revised a lot of glass construction projects are approved via a “normal” approval procedure by the lower building authorities, there are still many cases in which “approvals on an individual basis” (ZiE) are necessary.

These approvals (ZiE) are given by the Supreme Building Authority of each federal state. This means, there are specific federal regulations, which may have different implications on the process of having a construction permission granted. These regulations are individually determined and always laid out project related by the respective federal authorities. There are only very few rules and guidance documents issued on glass construction regulations.
